Marymead CatholicCare provides temporary shared accommodation for women and children experiencing homelessness and/or leaving domestic and family violence at MacKillop House.

At C3 Watson our MacKillop House team brings a home cooked monthly dinner to the women residing at MacKillop House and show them love in an atmosphere of fun and care.

CEIS encourages local Christians to support students at local schools by volunteering their time. Resources, training & team leaders are provided for Christian Education sessions each term.

At C3 Watson we are looking for people to join our C3 Watson CEIS team who go into Majura Primary school once a term to share the love of Jesus through CEIS. 

Nourish is a C3 Watson ministry which provides practical support of a meal to someone in our church or local community during a time of need.  You can choose how often you are available to be on the roster to cook a meal that will be frozen and supplied when needed.

Restores, inspires and assists those who feel trapped in the sex industry

Rahab is a group of women and men who reach out to the sex workers in Australia, offering a lifeline of hope and restoration to those who feel trapped in the sex industry. We visit the brothels, massage parlours and women that work on the streets to offer support and assistance in a variety of areas.

Our teams are made up of Christian volunteers from different churches, all moved by the love of God to see people dignified and empowered. Currently, Rahab has teams located in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, ACT, and Tasmania.

At C3 Watson our Rahab team of women and men visit establishments in Canberra, providing a gift and listening ear for each worker. We are looking to grow the team so more establishments can be visited each month. Training and support are provided.

Watson Friends Team started last year to host a barbeque once a month for residents of ACT housing at Watson Flats. It is all about building relationships and trust with the residents. We chat and eat together, allowing people to share at whatever level they are comfortable. We have already had God opportunities to pray for a few people at the barbeques and pray for more to come.

Kids Hope is a school based early intervention mentoring program for Primary Schools that enhances the social and emotional development of children by building confidence and resilience through one-to-one mentoring relationship for students who need some extra care and support. With almost 250 schools across Australia participating in the program, we see thousands of children receiving an hour of mentoring each week from a dedicated and focused mentor.

At C3 Watson we are building a team of mentors who will go into Majura Primary School to visit the same child for one hour once a week for at least one year.

Red Frogs Australia is a Christian Youth charity run by volunteers known as the 'Red Frogs Crew'. The volunteers participate in many events that are attended by school leavers and university students such as schoolies week. Since 1997, Allens' has donated over 24 tonnes of the red frog confectionery every year. 

At C3 Watson we serve at a campus of Canberra Uni once a week by cooking pancakes, playing board games or just hanging out with residents. Last year a team member attended ‘Schoolies’ on the Gold Coast. 

International Justice Mission is a global organisation with a plan to eliminate the slave trade everywhere. IJM collaborate with the justice system and community leaders to respond effectively to violence.

IJM partner with local authorities to rescue individual victims of violence and restore survivors to safety and stability. We work with justice system officials to ensure that criminals are held accountable, stopping the cycle of violence and deterring criminals. We equip champions to advocate for protection as an essential and tangible future for everyone.

At C3 Watson you can become a Freedom partner with IJM and/or join our C3 Watson IJM team.

C3 is a church planting movement, and we believe that planting a church in a community is the most effective way to bring the gospel to that place. Through C3 Beyond, we actively support new church plants.

In December 2013 we sent Nathan and Lisa Oliver with their three children, Samara, Toby and Evie, to Edinburgh to plant a local church. C3 Edinburgh continues to grow and thrive under Pastors Struan and Abigail Wardlaw who took over the reins from the Olivers in late 2022.
